I work with paper, cutting, tearing, slicing, and layering to create 2-D dimensional images. Get close and see that the texture, depth, light and shadow are developed through the layering, texture and choice of colored paper.

This elephant seems to be laughing as it plays submerged in the water. The paper is sculpted to emphasize the creases and folds of head and trunk.
