Spotted Salamander

This is a mole salamander common in the eastern United States and Canada. An Endangered species, it lives almost 20 yrs. The rising level of acidity in water in many habitats is having a negative effect on their present population. Habitat loss & pets’ trade are also responsible for the decline of the species. Medium: Paper, gel medium on Canvas. 9" x 12"
