Bushmanhare
The Bushman Hare lives in the South African Karoo Desert, with only 500 adults 1500 in all. Producing only one offspring per year. Live In very particular shrub land dunes and shrub forest. Habitat loss to cultivation and livestock farming. Removal of natural vegetation along the rivers and streams prevent them from being able to construct stable breeding burrows.
