Australian Southern Bent-wing Bat
This Bat species only occurs in southwestern Victoria and southeastern South Australia. the 1950 and 60's population was 200,000. The population has declined rapidly since 1950 and has been classified as critically endangered. and In 2009 estimated 20,000 individuals left. Threats to the southern bent-wing bat include climate change and loss of habitat due to land grazing, pesticides and human disturbance of roosting caves.
